These 4 ingredient biscuits are full of deliciousness and boosted with Superfruits+ for an added healthy twist. Kids will never know that they’re actually good for them. I made these for my daughter and her friends over the weekend, and they gobbled them up so fast, there was none left to go around. So my advice is to double batch them and store leftovers in the freezer. They won't last long!!
4 Ingredient Almond Berry Cookies+
Snacks, healthy treats
2 cups (200g) almond flour
4 tsp Wholesome Child Superfruits+
½ tsp (2g) baking powder
1/3 cup (80ml) maple syrup
Pinch sea salt (optional)
50g dark chocolate (>70%)
Preheat oven to 160°C (fan-forced) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Place all ingredients into a food processor and process until a dough comes together.
Scoop tablespoons of the dough onto the baking tray and flatten with the palm of your hand.
Bake in oven for 15 mins or until golden and crisp on the outside.
Drizzle with melted dark chocolate (optional) and allow to cool completely.
Serving and storing leftovers: Serve immediately, store in an airtight container in a cool, dry spot for 5 days, in the fridge for up to 14 days or freeze for up to 4 months.
- Swap Wholesome Child Superfruits+ for Wholesome Child Veggies+ or 2 tbs of Wholesome Child Protein+ Choc or Vanilla.
- Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract or powder to the mix before processing.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate or sprinkle with crushed nuts/seeds before baking.
