Delicious and creamy mashed potatoes are a favourite staple amongst kids. Add ¼ cup of Veggies+ to boost it with B vitamins and an array of veggies that most kids don’t love to eat.
Boosted Mashed Potatoes
900g potatoes, peeled and cubed (Coles)
1 tbs (30g) unsalted butter
1 – 1 ¼ cups milk of choice
Pinch of sea salt
4 tsp Wholesome Child Veggies+
In a large pot, cover the potatoes with water and bring to a boil.
Boil for 10 mins or until potatoes are soft.
Drain the potatoes and add butter to the pot.
Mash with a potato masher until smooth.
Add milk, salt and Veggies+ and whisk until creamy.
Alternatively, you can sprinkle the powder on top.
