Easy Pasta Sauce+

Please note: Veggies+ powder is manufactured in a facility that also processes products containing milk, fish, shellfish, crustacea, eggs, soy, tree nuts, lupin, and sesame.
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 small brown onion, peeled and finely diced
1 garlic clove (10g), peeled and crushed
700g tomato passata
1 tbs (4g) dried oregano
3 tbs (30g) Veggies+ powder
Sea salt and cracked pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic and cook for 3 mins or until soft.
Add tomato passata, oregano and cook, covered on medium heat for 7 mins.
Add Veggies+ powder and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with pasta, rice or with meat.
Serving and storing leftovers: Serve immediately, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 4 months.
- Add 1-2 cups of grated vegetables to the sauce before cooking such as carrot, zucchini, pumpkin, celery or capsicum.
- Add 1 peeled, cored and grated apple or 1/3 cup of apple puree to the sauce before cooking.
