Increasing Veggies Course
Are you struggling to get your kids to eat more vegetables? If so, you are not alone. Unfortunately, 9 out of 10 children do not eat the recommended amounts of veggies per day. While it is my advice to stay calm if your kids refuse to eat their greens (and reds, oranges, blues and purples), continuing to encourage them to increase their veggie intake is vital. Vegetables contain key nutrients which can make a significant impact on their overall health, immunity and development. My new Increasing Veggies Course will offer you the strategies, tips and hacks to ensure they get their fill of veggies every day – in surprisingly delicious and innovative ways that no fussy eater will reject.
With my Increasing Veggies course, you will receive a DIY meal planner, 50+ recipes, including main meals, snacks, breakfasts and desserts. Recipes cater for allergies and are suitable for all family members.
All our courses can be accessed and completed via the My Wholesome Child portal, and once you’ve purchased your course, you’ll be redirected here and asked to create a username and password. Once you’ve signed up, feel free to get started! The packs will remain in your portal forever, so don’t worry you can complete these at your leisure.
Through the My Wholesome Child portal, you can access a ton of free recipes and ways to incorporate our boosters into your daily routine, as well as an interactive meal planner and free shopping course detailing what brands to choose and avoid during your weekly shop.
Vegetables not only take the prize at being the healthiest food group, but they also receive the title of being the most rejected food group amongst young children. It’s common for babies to start off enjoying a large variety of pureed vegetables, but as they near the toddler mark, things often turn upside down, and mealtime battles ensue with constant pleas from desperate parents to try … one little bite!!
This course is designed to overcome mealtime battles and help you find clever and fun ways to include more veggie variety and quantity in your children’s diet. From mac n’ cheese with hidden veggies to black bean brownies, our delicious veggie-filled recipes will offer fun and creative ways to get them to eat veggies daily – no matter their taste preferences.
Always keep in mind that change is a slow process for children, especially when trying to increase vegetables, and it takes patience and perseverance, but it’s always worth it. My advice is always to celebrate any changes you are able to make, as small changes can make a big difference to their overall health.

Will my Fussy Eater Detect the Boosters in their Food?
Veggies+ has a very subtle flavour and slight orange colour that is easy to disguise in baked goods, sauces, spreads or main meals.
Superfruits+ has a berry flavour and pinky purple appearance. It is easily disguised in jam, Vegemite, peanut butter or anything containing chocolate. Children love seeing how it turns milk or batter pink!
Protein+ Choc has a sweet flavour and chocolatey appearance.
Protein+ Vanilla has a sweet vanilla taste and is colourless.
Product testing has shown minimal resistance to detection of the products by fussy eaters.
What is the Nutritional Value of the Boosters?

Superfruits+ and Veggies+ contain high quality fruit and vegetable ingredients that are gently refractance window dried to ensure maximum nutrient value. All products are heat resistant and retain their value through the cooking process.
Veggies+ contains 15 veggies and supercharged greens and 18 bioavailable vitamins and minerals plus prebiotics to promote gut health.
Superfruits+ contains potent immune boosting ingredients, including Acai Berry, Echinacea, Shitake Mushroom and Elderberry. The formulation supports gut health, and one serving provides 100% RDI for Vitamin C for 1-3 year olds.

Wholesome Child was created to help parents navigate the competing advice in a context of rising obesity and health problems in children. This is your destination for expert advice, support and solutions to help your children be their best.
It Takes a Village
It's not just up to parents to feed children nourishing foods, and Wholesome Child is so dedicated to the mission of improving nutrition for children that it pioneered Nourish, the first holistic child care nutrition solution in Australia. Mandy's book and social channels engage grandparents, aunts and uncles to help the entire village do better for our children.
The train to enjoy method
Mandy’s philosophy is simple: train children’s taste-buds to enjoy nourishing, nutritionally beneficial foods early as possible to ensure optimal development and establishment of lifelong healthy eating behaviours. Even when foods are being boosted with nutrients, Wholesome Child advocates for serving them in their raw, recognisable state to continue to desensitise children and teach positive nutrition.
